I worked the bow using 2 yarns, 1 orange & 1 brown for tis effect.

yes, i like the pattern very much but not all the colors used. black & maroon are too strong & clash wif yellow & blue.

Progress of YT’s scarf January 21, 2006
took a picture of YT’s scarf & showed her my progress too. still a long way to go & she’s flying off on fri!
she suggested i crochet since tat’s much much faster but i wana persist on wif knitting leh.
muz master it & learn more stitches.
i dropped a stitch but managed to fix it back. i’m learning to see the pattern of the finished work.

Found another piece of work finished long time ago…tink it should be 5 yrs ago for yeow.
very sweet light blue color & has rows of popcorn stitches…..tink i’ll get a small water bottle & use it myself.
i love the effect of popcorn stitch much better den fan so i use it a lot.
btw, tis is definitely 100X nicer den the Siggs white crochet bottle holder wif no design watsoever.

My 1st knitting class January 9, 2006
Just back from my 1st knitting class. so excited…it’s so much easier wif someone teaching den reading instructions. i couldn’t figure out the instructions for so many yrs but wif brenda as teacher, suddenly it’s workable.
but the yarn was a killer. can’t even count the stitches not to talk about doing any pattern. in the end, brenda suggested i juz do knit so the way which i readily accepted. anything to make the task easier. tink i’m motivated enuff to try to finish YT’s scarf by next wk & start on one for HQ.

as i have stated before, i’m a color coordination idiot!
tough when i am so into crochet…u haf to be creative when u like crafts but too bad i haf so little color sense.
